MANGOSPACE AI TERMS OF SERVICE

These terms are a contract between you and MangoSpace AI. They are written to be read, not to be impressive. Where a clause matters to you, it is short and plain.

1. ACCEPTANCE

By creating an account or using MangoSpace AI you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

We may update these terms. When we do, we update the date above, and for changes that materially affect you we ask you to accept the new version in the app before you continue using the affected feature.

2. WHO MAY USE MANGOSPACE

You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. We ask your age once, when you create your account: the age range your iPhone shares when you choose to share it, or otherwise your age. We store only that you are 18 or older, never your age or the range itself. If the answer is that you are under 18, the sign-up ends and the account is deleted at once.

You sign in with your Apple or Google account. You are responsible for keeping that account secure and for everything done through your MangoSpace account.

3. YOUR LICENSE TO USE THE SERVICE

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use MangoSpace AI for your own use, subject to these terms. You may not resell the service, rent access to it, or use it to build a competing product.

4. YOUR CONTENT

You own what you write. Your goals, calendar entries, messages, and anything you attach to a conversation remain yours.

You grant us a limited license to host, store, transmit, display, and process your content, and to send it to the AI providers described in the Privacy Policy, strictly to operate the service for you. This license exists so the app can function; it ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in routine backups until they age out.

We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not license it to anyone for their own purposes.

5. AI FEATURES: WHAT YOU ARE AGREEING TO

This section is the one the app asks you to accept before your first conversation.

AI features are optional, and off until you turn them on. We ask once, the first time you send your avatar a message, and accepting these terms turns them on. If you do not accept, nothing changes about the rest of the app: goals, habits, sleep, your avatar and everything else work the same. You can turn AI on later in Settings, under Privacy and AI, and you can turn it off again there at any time.

While AI is off, nothing you write in the app is sent to an AI provider. Our servers refuse the send, so switching off holds even for an out-of-date copy of the app. Turning it off does not delete anything by itself; the same screen offers to erase what your avatar remembers and to clear your chat history, and both are your choice.

Turning AI off is not cancelling a paid plan. If you subscribe, your plan keeps billing until you cancel it. Manage Membership is where you do that.

Your avatar is an AI, not a person. It generates text with a language model. It has no professional training, no credentials, and no ability to understand your situation the way a person would. It can be confidently wrong.

Replies are generated by third-party AI providers. Your messages are sent to Google, Anthropic, or OpenAI to produce a reply. They are sent from our servers, and they do not carry your email address or your account identifiers. Each provider processes your messages under its own terms, described in our Privacy Policy.

Conversations stay on your device. We do not store them on our servers. Your device keeps your latest conversations and sends the recent part of the thread with each message, which is how your avatar follows it. The Privacy Policy explains what that means, including the limits: on the web your browser is the device, conversations do not sync between your devices, and the AI provider still receives each message under its own terms.

MangoSpace, AI chat included, is for adults. See section 2.

Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or crisis decisions. MangoSpace AI is not a medical device, not a healthcare provider, not a licensed professional of any kind, and not a crisis service. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line. The app may show you crisis resources, and that is not treatment.

AI output is not our statement. We do not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for the content a model generates. Use judgment.

6. ACCEPTABLE USE

You may not:

• Use the service for anything unlawful, or to encourage anyone else to
• Generate or solicit sexual content involving minors, content that sexualizes real people without consent, or content that promotes violence against or the harassment of any person or group
• Attempt to extract, reverse engineer, or circumvent our prompts, models, safety systems, or rate limits
• Use automated means to access the service, scrape it, or create accounts in bulk
• Interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or overload it
• Impersonate another person, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone
• Use a handle that is offensive, that impersonates someone, or that targets a person or group
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service or any part of it
• Use the service to develop a competing AI product, including by using its output as training data

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these rules, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents us.

MangoSpace has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Your neighbors in the village see your handle. If a neighbor's handle is offensive or they are abusive, open their house and use Report, which also blocks them, or Block on its own: a neighbor you block looks like a villager to you, and we never tell them. A person at MangoSpace reviews every report within 24 hours, and we may give the player a new handle, move them out of the village, or suspend their account. You can also write to us at the support address in section 15.

7. SUBSCRIPTIONS, TRIALS, AND VIRTUAL ITEMS

Free plan. You can use MangoSpace AI without paying. A free account includes a taste of AI chat: up to 10 messages in a 24-hour window that opens with the first message you send in it, and 100 messages in all, on our everyday model and without web search. Once the 100 are used, AI chat comes with a paid subscription, and the rest of the app stays free.

Paid subscription. A paid subscription includes AI chat with the AI models that come with its plan, within usage limits: one for each 5-hour window and one for each week, and each resets in full when its window ends. The price, the billing period, the limits, the models and everything else a plan includes are shown in the app before you buy. Unused usage does not carry over to the next window.

Free trial. If we offer you a free trial, its length is shown before you start it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription at the price shown, and your payment method is charged.

Renewal and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Cancel at any time: on the web through the billing portal, on iOS through your Apple subscription settings, and on Android through Google Play. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.

Refunds. Purchases made through Apple or Google are refunded by Apple or Google under their policies; we cannot issue those refunds ourselves. For purchases made on the web, contact us and we will follow applicable law.

Deleting your account. Asking to delete your account stops the next renewal of a subscription bought on the web at once, and the membership ends with the account on the deletion date, fourteen days later. The rest of the period is not refunded. A subscription bought through Apple or Google keeps renewing until you cancel it in your store settings: we cannot cancel it for you, and deleting the account does not.

Price changes. We will tell you before a price change takes effect and give you the chance to cancel.

Coins and other virtual items have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred between accounts. They are a license to use a feature of the app, not property, and they end when your account does.

8. SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES

MangoSpace AI is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may retire an AI model when its provider does. We will give reasonable notice of a change that materially reduces what a paid subscription includes.

9. DISCLAIMERS

To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty about the accuracy or reliability of AI output.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent the law allows, MangoSpace AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 US dollars.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. TERMINATION

You may stop using MangoSpace AI at any time, and you may delete your account in the app, under Settings, then Privacy and AI. The account is deleted fourteen days after you ask, and you can cancel by signing in before then. The Privacy Policy describes what is deleted and what remains, and section 7 what happens to a paid membership.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service. If we discontinue the service we will give you reasonable notice and refund any prepaid period you cannot use.

Sections 4, 9, 10, 12, and 13 survive the end of these terms.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. If you live in a jurisdiction whose consumer protection law grants you rights that cannot be waived by contract, nothing here removes them.

13. DISPUTES

Talk to us first. Most problems are faster to fix by email than by filing anything. Write to support@mangospace.ai and we will make a genuine attempt to resolve it within 30 days.

If that fails, disputes may be brought in the state or federal courts located in Spokane County, Washington, and you and MangoSpace AI consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may also bring a claim in the courts of your own country of residence where the law gives you that right.

14. GENERAL

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and MangoSpace AI about the service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them to a successor in a merger or acquisition.
